Caleb's great maths progress

This is me saying how I am going to lean my times tables

08.08.11

This is my way of working out 4 times 28 is 4 times 20 =80 +4 times 8 =32 and it came to =112.

This is a different way of doing this question. 4 times 30 =120 -4 times 2 =112.

18.08.11
3x1=3 This is my math's table this week.
3x2=6
3x3=9
3x4=12
3x5=15
3x6=18
3x7=21
3x8=24
3x9=37
3x10=30

7.10.11
57 divided by 3 =

I made 57 circles and grouped them into threes to get 19.

I separated 57 into 30 and 27- from 30 I can get 10 threes and from 27 i can get 9 threes. That makes 19 threes if you join them together.
