Reflection On the Young Leaders Day - Palmerston North

At the young leaders conference I took in that you don't want to make bad choices. I think it was pretty good because once you were there it was mainly just sitting and listening to the speakers. I think next time the organizers should make it a bit later start so that we can leave a bit later from New Plymouth because it is a very early start. Roneta

At the young leaders conference I took away a message that said don't be remembered as a black dot. I think they managed the trip really well. I think that next it could be less early. I would give support to this event in the future so the future kids can experience it just like us.

Young Leaders Day Thoughts   Name: Kacia

Hi all

As we reflect on the success of our Young Leaders Conference we would like to hear your thoughts.

Please fill out your responses to the questions.

Thanks from your teachers

What messages did you take away from the young leaders conference?
Contributing, Becoming a good leader, Making good choices.

How do you think the Year 6’s managed the day’s trip?

Some of the time it got a bit boring but most of the time it was fun because we got to hang out with our friends all day long and longer than usual.

What would you suggest we did differently next time?

I think they should choose more people from the back to come up to the stage because they only chose the people from the front.

What reasons can you give to support a trip similar to this for future year 6’s?

Take something small like a mp3 to keep you company.
